 The Information Science and Engineering Department of DBIT is established with a mission to impart excellent knowledge about computing and related know-how to the
students. The members of faculty are highly experienced in industry as well as in Research areas.
Departmental Activities: Technical Seminars by eminent persons from Software companies & scientists from Central Government institution like ISRO, NAL, HAL, ADE, and ADA are arranged regularly to enable the students to gain knowledge of the latest technology. Training is given to students to face Aptitude & Technical Tests conducted by Industries for the purpose of placements.
The Department has a team of qualified and experienced faculty, who are dedicated in teaching and training students. The Department has received proposals to provide Research and Development (R & D) facilities to encourage Research Projects

The Department has well equipped Laboratories with the state of the art hardware & software. The Computer Lab is having one of the most advanced and extensive infrastructure with 400 workstations monitored by many IBM servers and also it has RF UP-Linking with high speed Internet connectivity. The Department also has a wireless connectivity. Latest genuine softwares are provided for lab uses. |
