The first batch of VTU M.Tech students in Design Engineering are presently in IV Semester and will roll out in the year 2013-14. And the second batch of students are in I semester M.Tech. The department has achieved 100 percent results in III semester and is promoting quality research projects in advanced areas of Design Engineering. The Department has highly qualified and experienced faculty.
