Eligibility Norms for UG Technical Courses
A minimum aggregate of 45 % marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biology / Electronics/ Computer Science / Information science in the P.U.C. examination of State of Karnataka or its equivalent examination in any other state is required for General Category . For PIO / NRI students the minimum aggregate required is 45%. Minimum aggregate of 40% for SC / ST / OBC Category students of Karnataka. A minimum aggregate of 50 % marks for PG Courses. Minimum aggregate of 45% for SC / ST / OBC Category students of Karnataka. This concessional aggregate mark is not applicable to SC / ST category students of other state.
Admission to MBA / M.Tech course shall be open for the candidates who have passed the Bachelor degree with not less than fifty percent i.e, integer 50% (rounding - off aggregate percent is not permitted) of the marks in the aggregate of all the years of the degree examinations. However, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to **SC/ST and category I, the aggregate percent of marks of all the years of the qualifying examination shall not be less than forty five percent i.e. integer 45% (rounding - off aggregate percent is not permitted).
