The DBIT Library is named as Dr. Raja Ramanna Center For Knowledge Resources.
Dr. Raja Ramanna Centre for Knowledge Resources (RRCKR), started in the year 2001 was inaugurated by Dr. Raja Ramanna a great Nuclear Scientist and Physicist. RRCKR is the heart for the academic activities at DBIT; it is home for all the information services. It plays a proactive role in enabling access to information resources of all kind and providing innovative, responsive and effective services to meet the changing and sustained needs of the academic community. The Library has a collection of Books; Project Reports, Bound Volumes of Journals, Dictionary, Encyclopedia and is subscribed to National, International Journals and has several eResources, which includes EDUSAT Video Lessons, interactive CD’s and software.
RRCKR's services are computerized and automated by using LIBSOFT library management software with OPAC (Online public Access Catalogue) facility. The library has adopted open access system and the all books are bar-coded, circulation is maintained through LIBSOFT library management software by using barcode reader. Library can be access 24/7 through this IP Link: http://58.68.90.108/opac around the globe. Library has its own mission to support and fulfill the vision of the institution.
Seating, area & location
RRCKR is situated in the ground floor, spread over around 600 Sq.M in the Main administrative block. Designed in such a way it has natural light over entire day and provides a friendly environment to gain knowledge in an effective manner. Library has well trained professionals to support the user community. Around 150 users can sit and read at any point of time.
Internet and Multimedia Centre
RRCKR has separate Browsing Centre in its premises; it has 40 systems with high speed internet connectivity. There is separate Multimedia Centre with 10 systems connected with LAN. Users can browse Digital Library, eResources and can view multimedia resources which are available in library as well as in the internet. It is kept opened 12 hours a day.

Library has subscribed around 150 Technical journals, Periodicals and Magazines for fulfilling the current information needs and to know the development in the field of Technology and Management.
